Workshop on Advanced Critical Care Nursing


Maharashtra Education society’s MES College of Nursing, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing has organized 3 days’ Workshop on advanced critical care nursing from 14th June 2024 to 16th June 2024 with an aim to enhance the knowledge and skills of student nurses in the field of advanced critical care procedures and surgical techniques.
                       The first session, was led by Dr. Ashok Sharma, Founder & CEO of Nursing Champs India, focused on advanced critical care procedures. The Session was included basic orientation of instruments, surgical supplies, and equipment. The training made it easier for the participants to comprehend how to handle and use the technique. The session were conducted by Dr. Ashok Sharma and supported by his team, Mr. Ranjeet Meena and Mr. Divyesh Makwana led a practice session on hands-on skills: Nursing procedures like drain care and emptying, Tracheostomy care, catheterization, suctioning, dressing, administering oxygen handling and configuring electronic devices such syringe pumps and infusion pumps, patient monitors, and mechanical ventilation such as NIV, IV cannulation, medication preparation and delivery, CVP catheter use and care, and suture materials and techniques were given hands on training to student nurses.
                     This workshop on Advanced Critical Care Nursing provides to be a comprehensive platform for student nurses to enhance their expertise in critical care and surgical procedures, ensuring better patient care outcomes in the future.
